Gornji Vakuf Uskoplje was close to the heart of the war in Bosnian Herzegovina during the 90s. The front line split the town down its main street and it's still divided along this line today. Can this small community recover, with nationalist rhetoric still evident on all sides, and what legacy has been left by international intervention?

"After the War/Bridges Across Borders" is a long form documentary film following the lives of a number of key characters from the town, and it is also a social project.

As well as filming we will be running workshops in filmmaking and photography as part of a wider program run in conjunction with other creatives from across Europe, as well as the University of Westminster, Omladinski Centar and the Village Underground among others.
